Arrrrrgg

A stranger online ordered a Capt. Hook coat and vest from my Etsy website (http://www.dearmistergable.etsy.com/). He was way excited about it, and wanted to design some of the details. Here's what he emailed me: Here's what I bought:
And here's what I came up with:
Despite charging $320, I think the more I make this ensemble, the more I want to up the price. For some reason, everything that could go wrong in the construction did, and it became one of those 'are you kidding me' projects. I'm shipping it off to Georgia in the morning. Good riddance.

Uh oh, did this one not go smoothly? What happened?

Also, I LOVE the embellishments on the cuffs!

It was fine, I just kept making silly mistakes, like cutting out wrong pieces, cording fraying, sewing on the gold scrolls upside down :) I guess I was just reeeally distracted on this project, trying to get it done during Disco. Yours went much better!

Ya, this guy found them on ebay; cool huh!
