You're supposed to count all of the passes between the kids in white shirts. I got 14, but apparently there are 15. I just keep missing one pass. Take a look at the video, and tell me if you can see all of them.

The Drinking Fountain Date

This was the "Drinking Fountain Date" last night, where we ganged up with some of Camille's cousins to find the best drinking fountain on campus. We split up to cover a couple buildings each, and scored every fountain appropriately by taste, temperature, fountain height, stream thickness, accessibility, button pushability, and appearance. Then we got back together, reported on our findings, and as a group went to the very bests and very worsts. And the winner is....

A Pair of Shades

We're big fans of www.slickdeals.net. They put up random deals and coupons daily, and they end up being pretty good bargains. One day, they had this deal, 10 pairs of nice designer sunglasses for $10, so we got 20 :) and now we're all set for our cruise, and no stress if we lose a pair! "I'm gonna soak up the sun..." And here's a shrine to our shades. Pretty happy about it.

FCCLA

A couple weeks ago, I chaperoned our FCCLA (Family, Career, Community Leaders of America) troop up to the State Conference for 3 days. The 16 teenagers, Miss Reid, and I stayed at a hotel, had pool parties, pizza night, etc.

So in FCCLA, the students can participate in "star events" where they come up with a project, make a poster and give a 10-min. presentation to several judges. These are two of my students, Kassidy & Josh, who did so great, they get to go to NATIONALS in Nashville!! That is, if I can help them raise the $3,000. Any ideas?

Bowls for Humanity

We went to "Bowls for Humanity"

at the Covey Center downtown Provo.

$5=a student-made pottery bowl + soup and rolls + entertainment + giving to charity!

They're now our favorite ice cream bowls :)
