Buy Me Something!

Jason stitched Janae's name into a jacket (all by himself ;), and she made Jason an apron for doing the dishes! Hurray! I made Spencer a "Super Spencer" cape, and he made me some wooden picture frame stands (all by himself ;)

Christmas Eve

We were going to make a stocking that said "In-Law", but thought it kinder to just cover up Braden's stocking with Jason's name. Don't tell Braden.

The kiddies figuring out the clues that lead them to their....

Christmas Eve pajamas!

Yes, a Christmas Blog

Spencer, you're a monster.

Derek got to baptize Carson, his friend from school! It was wonderful!

Cookie Hater

Its true, I'm not a huge fan of cookies. Or cake for that matter. Hard crumbly cookies and dry cake slathered in buttercream, yuck. However, I could eat sweet breads and ice cream all day long. Anyways, Mom Millar gave us some yummy gourmet baking ingredients (including the mint chocolate chips and the gourmet dark cocao) for Christmas, so I had to try some out. The result: pretty tasty cookies. I'm pretty ok with these! Some Variation of an Andes Mint Cookie

1 cup butter, softened 1 cup brown sugar 3/4 cup white sugar 2 eggs 3 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 Tablespoons dark cocoa 3 cups mint chocolate chips Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream the butter and the sugars, then beat in the eggs. Add the flour, baking soda and salt, and mix in the chocolate chips using a wooden spoon. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes--no more! Even if they look doughy! Cool for 5 min. on the pan.

THANKS MOM! Get excited Kati--we're bringing you a few as a thank-you for taking us to the airport on Tuesday!

Disco Inferno!

Time to get your tickets now for a night of super 70's disco! This'll really be a fun show. I can't believe how quickly we had to put it together, what with so many of the cast members missing rehearsal for the holidays (myself included), but it'll all come together, right?! Super fun dance numbers, and an awesome cast--you'll find my character Maggie wearing orange in every scene!
January 8-16 M,Th,F,S at 7:30pm.
I have plenty of $3 off coupons, or you can print your own at http://www.scera.org/app/webroot/uploads/file/coupon(1).pdf
Also, on Starving Student cards, there is a buy-one-get-one for all musicals at the Scera.
Don't forget the nightly 70's costume contest! See you there!

I Heart NW

Well, my girls were voted off by the judges, but of course, I thought they were incredible. It was cool to see all the hype about acappella, and to see Noteworthy get their name out. I think they represented BYU, the Church, and female acappella well, and I'm glad they got this opportunity! Yay! Think

Last night's song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgJpmv-VP-8
Its funny, my last year in the group, we had barely learned this song (Think), like the day before we performed it our last show of the year. And then they made it fabulous! Listen tonight for 2 more songs!

Wall Street Survivor

Hi its Jason! My Investments class participated in a Wall Street Survivor (www.wallstreetsurvivor.com) competition this semester, where everyone started with $100,000 to play with and invest in stocks of our choice. It showed real time prices of the actual stocks, so our amount of money fluctuated as if it were real invested money. ....and I took first place in my section and 2nd in the entire class! Now I get to take Camille out with my prize gift card. However, I don't think she's completely comfortable yet with the idea of me really investing $100,000.
